For the top A2 page I have designed a poster for the college
I attend, this shows the colour scheme, what the poster will contain and how it
will all be laid out. For the bottom A2 page I have created a character
development page for an animation project, this shows different faces the
character has, how its eyes can move and how the body can position itself.

Clay dog
This is a selection of photos which show a clay dog which I made. I shaped the different parts of its body making sure each part was hollow so that it could be heated when finished. After making each shape I then put the dog together wetting each joint so that the clay would stick. The bottom right image is the final outcome.
Poster created on adobe illustrator
Digital poster
This poster was put together by photos I took which had the theme of 'green'. I used Photoshop to put all the photos together to present them.
mixed media patterns
The top page is A2 which is filled with coloured pattern work using different medias such as pencils, chalk, paints and newspaper. The bottom 2 pattern pages are computer generated on Adobe Photoshop by using the pattern tool working from photos I had took previously. I then duplicated the image onto a new layer, rotated it and changed its effect to create a more interesting pattern.
Mixed media pattern work
This is pattern work which I got
from observational studies. For this I took a small square from a study, drew
it out and flipped it to create a pattern, I then used a range of Medias to
colour them in to create detailed patterns. I then decided to take some of the
patterns further and create a piece of felt which represented the pattern. I
then used the sewing machine to make it more interesting by sewing around each
shape. The top page of patterns is A2.
Digital graphic drawing created on photoshop
I created this on Adobe Photoshop using a wacom graphics tables by using the differnt paint brushes, tools and option Photoshop offers. It was done by using many layers built on top of eachother.
animal drawings
These 2 drawings were also under
the theme of 'up close and personal'. They are both A2 (420x594mm). For the top
image I wanted to use an unusual background so I dyed the page but then used
bleach to add the lighter marks, I thought that a biro would work well for this
as it can be used loosely but still allows for detail. For the second image I
used coloured pencils to do a detail study of the cows however the background
is done using chalks as I wanted all attention to be on the cows.
creative image making
These images where created on Adobe Photoshop. I used photos which I had taken in a recent photo-shoot which was based on the colour green. I also scanned random objects such as bubble wrap onto the computer to create an unusual looking image which I then merged with a normal photograph however I changed the opacity and effect of the image to make the 2 images work together. I feel the 3 above turned out the best.
Creative alphabet
This was a task which I had to produce the alphabet using a way that is creative and used my imagination so I decided to make the letters using the human body. I thought it would be a good idea to have the two people wearing different coloured clothes but stick to one colour per person as I wanted the letters to clearly stand out. This was a fun and simple exercise.
Detailed dog studies
This shows 3 drawings of my dog, the top drawing is done using pencils on an A2 sized paper. The bottom 2 drawings also share an A2 page and are done by pencil and a biro pen. I like these studies together as they show the characteristic of my dog from different angles.
Typography
This is a section from my graphics diary were I have shown that there is different ways you can edit the text in Adobe Photoshop simply by changing their font size, colour, shape and also by adding special effects.
Creative image making
This shows 4 20cm X 20cm panels were I have used a combination of creative type and imagery. These were created on Adobe Photoshop however I got the background image from the internet as this was just a quick and simple task.
