These 2 drawings were also under the theme of 'up close and personal'. They are both A2 (420x594mm). For the top image I wanted to use an unusual background so I dyed the page but then used bleach to add the lighter marks, I thought that a biro would work well for this as it can be used loosely but still allows for detail. For the second image I used coloured pencils to do a detail study of the cows however the background is done using chalks as I wanted all attention to be on the cows.
